Ansa Assuncao, LLP Adds Former Judicial Clerk Lindsay Kim Chung
Ms. Kim Chung joined Ansa Assuncao in September 2009 following judicial clerkships with the Honorable Juan R. Sánchez, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Honorable Timothy R. Rice, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Honorable Francis M. McDonald and the Honorable Robert I. Berdon, former Connecticut Supreme Court Justices sitting by designation on the Appellate Court of Connecticut.Ms. Kim Chung earned her J.D. in 2005 from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as Administrative Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. Ms. Kim Chung received her A.B. in comparative literature from Princeton University in 2001. While attending Princeton University, Ms. Kim Chung studied summers abroad at Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China, and at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
Ansa Assuncao, LLP Achieves Summary Judgment in Fire Case Based upon Spoliation of Evidence
Ansa Assuncao, LLP attorney Jennifer Wright Schick secured summary judgment on behalf of our client in a nearly $1 million fire loss claim. This was a hard fought case involving nine months of discovery and a three-hour hearing on the summary judgment motion. The Federal District Court in Maryland granted summary judgment on the basis of the plaintiff’s spoliation of evidence.
