Ms. Lock is a litigator, who specializes in all aspects of labor and employment law. She defends companies and their employees against all forms of civil rights claims, including all forms of employment discrimination, civil rights violations and defamation claims in state and federal courts and agencies. She further provides advice, agreements, policies and training to employers on employment matters, including:
- drafts FMLA, electronic use, drug and alcohol testing and other policies;
- advises on questions regarding the FMLA, wage and hour laws, employee terminations, harassment investigations and the Americans with Disabilities Act; and
- drafts agreements, including employment agreements, separation agreements, and confidentiality and/or noncompete agreements.
Ms. Lock also devotes a portion of her practice to commercial and catastrophic tort matters.
Ms. Lock earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 1998. While at Villanova, Ms. Lock was an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. Ms. Lock earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. After law school, Ms. Lock performed a clerkship for United States District Judge Joseph Farnan, Jr., then-Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
