Ryan conducts a corporate, litigation, and trial practice that is national, regional, and local in scope. He has handled client matters in 25 different states in recent years. Ryan represents corporations and organizations in a wide range of cases, including commercial, health care, real estate, piercing the corporate veil, toxic tort, transportation, employment, media litigation, sophisticated insurance coverage and bad faith, product liability, subrogation, construction defect, breach of warranty, and regulatory matters in state and federal courts. Ryan also has an appellate practice and has argued numerous appeals.
Ryan also serves as outside general counsel for numerous corporate clients. In that capacity, he handles legal compliance, risk management, internal protocols, indemnity, and electronic discovery. He designed a national panel counsel training program for an institutional client. Ryan has created limited liability companies, drafted employment, vendor, non-compete, and client agreements, and negotiated lease agreements. Ryan is well-versed in scope of practice laws within the health care industry. Ryan has lectured at defense attorney seminars nationally, including lectures regarding electronic discovery issues.
Ryan has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2011, an honor received by only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania lawyers annually. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Center City Proprietors Association.
