Scott C. Rosentrater

Scott C. Rosentrater is a seasoned civil litigator with more than 20 years of experience handling defense, liability, coverage, and commercial litigation matters. He represents insurers, businesses, and individuals in complex cases involving general casualty, premises liability, construction, transportation, product liability, catastrophic injury, bad faith, and insurance coverage disputes.

Scott is known for practical case evaluation, strong written advocacy, and the ability to move files efficiently from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motion practice, arbitration, trial, and appeal. Before joining Ansa Assuncao, Scott maintained his own Philadelphia litigation practice and previously practiced with several established civil defense firms.
 
Scott earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Temple University. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.

Scott is married to Dr. Rosana Rosentrater, DMD, a pediatric dentistry practitioner and clinical associate affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Penn Dental Family Practice. They have one son, Cyrano, who studies music at The Juilliard School.
